The successful Architect will work with our team of talented project managers, engineers, and production staff to transform conceptual designs into construction documents, as well as prepare specifications and other required documentation. He/she excels in client relationship management, consistently delivers projects that adhere to the firm's high quality standards while meeting the client's timeline and budget.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plans, schedules, conducts and coordinates detailed phases of professional work in part of a project or an entire project
  • Demonstrates independent judgment in evaluation, selection, adaptation and modification of construction types and materials
  • Produces work according to established standards, methods, and procedures
  • Accurately applies code specific requirements related to various construction types
  • Assists project manager with development of proposals, scope of work and production budget
  • Directs production staff and mentors future architects
  • May perform Construction Administration for assigned projects

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or related field, or completion of professional development program resulting in architectural licensure
  • Licensed Architect in the State of California
  • 7-10 years of experience in a design consultant environment
  • Experience working on projects that have California Building Code requirements and is up-to-date on current CBC requirements
  • Proficient in all phases of project documentation including Schematic Design, Design Development and Construction Documents
  • Proven time management skills including setting goals, prioritizing, estimating hours and completing tasks on time
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or REVIT

Compensation based on experience. Benefits take effect on the 1st of the month following the date of employment and include medical, dental and employee-paid vision plans. A cafeteria plan, 401(k) plans, supplemental insurance, and Wellness and Gym programs are also available.
